Hands-on clay sessions designed for kids aged 5–12. They build, squish, and shape — and walk away with something fired and glazed to take home. Parents welcome to join.
What to expect
Kids start with a ball of air-dry clay and zero instructions. Min observes what each child naturally gravitates toward before gently guiding them toward a finished piece — usually a small animal, a bowl, or whatever they've decided to make that day.
Parents are welcome to sit alongside and join in. The studio is set up so adults can work on their own piece while keeping an eye on their child.
Finished pieces are left to dry and can be collected 3–5 days later, glazed and ready to take home. Min photographs every piece before collection so you have a record even if it doesn't survive the MRT ride.

Min Chen
Min has been a ceramics artist and educator for over a decade. She designed the Clay Play curriculum specifically for children aged 5–12, with a focus on sensory exploration over precision. She genuinely believes clay is one of the most honest materials a child can work with.
