What to expect
You'll begin by selecting a piece of broken pottery — or bringing your own — and understanding the philosophy behind kintsugi: that breakage and repair are part of an object's history, not something to hide.
Using a food-safe, non-toxic lacquer mixed with gold powder, you'll carefully fill each crack with deliberate brushwork. The process is meditative and unhurried.
Your piece will need 24–48 hours to cure fully. The studio will wrap it carefully for transport. You'll leave with both the repaired piece and a deeper appreciation for imperfection.
